Two Days in Downieville

Ruch Holcomb & Tobin Ortenblad take top honors in the all-mountain class.

The Downieville Classic hosts two races — a point-to-point cross-country course over the crest of the Sierra Nevada, and the longest downhill race in the United States, covering 15 miles and descending 5,000 vertical feet.

Each race has its winners, but the real prize goes to the all-mountain category, where racers compete in both races, two days in a row, on the same bike. It's a true test of fitness, bike skills, and endurance.

For 2026, Ruth Holcomb and Tobin Ortenblad came out on top, wearing the race-designed CONCEPT kit and riding the new Santa Cruz Blur.
