If you are new to the LUXE Bib Short, it will likely feel more compressive than you are used to. That's on purpose. The high-compression construction is made to support muscles on extended rides, without bunching or moving.
The Bib Short has also been designed for optimal fit on the bike. When you try them on for the first time, do so on a bike to mimic the position they were designed for. Or even better, go for a ride.
Because of the high-gauge lycra construction and the compressive nature of the bib shorts, a layflat inseam length isn't accurate to how they will fit on the body. The Bib Shorts are designed to be form-fitting, and the laser-cut leg band will land slightly above the knee where the leg muscle tapers toward the joint.
Yes. We suggest washing the bibs before your first ride to get a head start on the break-in process. Over the first few rides and washes, the LUXE Bib Short will continue to improve, contouring to your specific anatomy and how you move on the bike.
