The coldest days are often the slowest miles of the year, leading to a high need for high performance baselayers. Our collection of winter weight base layers and bib shorts, tights and accessories act as staples for the winter season, regardless of the ride’s output and the temperature outside. We’ve put more time into fabric selection and design to allow for more time outside pedaling.
MERINO Wool
Merino wool is unrivaled as a cool to cold weather base layer material: naturally thermoregulating, anti-bacterial, and bearing an ability to insulate even when wet, merino is a perfect next-to-skin layer for cold weather months. Our line of merino base layers come in several weights and sleeve lengths to accommodate changing conditions and preferences. These styles incorporate different weights and constructions of merino-polyester blends designed to provide the thermal qualities of wool with the wicking, fit and durability benefits of polyester. A classic silhouette in sleeveless, short sleeve and long sleeve variations provides options for late Fall through mid-winter riding.
Casual Styling
With a casual style capable of wearing with a pair of jeans, the Merino 160 is more than just casual. Artfully constructed and technically developed for incredible warmth and all-day comfort.
REFINED DETAILS
Flat lock stitching, tagless collar and on-bike fit are subtle details that set these staples apart. It's the type of top you won't want to take off.
WINTER WEIGHT COMPRESSION
Not all 'roubaix' is created equal. Our fleece lined thermal bib shorts and tights is developed using premium Italian milled Thermoroubaix Power DWR from MITI s.p.a. We chose this top end fabric for its compressive quality - similar to that found on our summer weight bib shorts - as well as it's dense knit and DWR treated face, both of which enhance protection from the cold wet months of the year. These premium offerings provide amazing versatility from Fall through early Spring and will extend comfort far beyond the sunny days and short-sleeved temps.
DWR TREATED
Light precipitation and grime are shed easily by the durable water repellant (DWR) treatment applied to all Thermal bibs and tights... keeping you drier longer, and extending the longevity of your bibs.
FLYFREE ENABLED
Our FlyFree technology is our solution to mid-ride nature breaks that doesn't require jersey, jacket or helmet removal. Developed and refined over the last 5 years and available across our entire range, FlyFree represents our commitment to high performance options for women that don't compromise on comfort or functionality - even when the mercury drops.
ALL-DAY CHAMOIS
With the same dual-density chamois found in our lauded Signature & LUXE bib shorts, the Thermal Bib Shorts & Tights provide unmatched comfort and support for long winter miles.
- Hybrid Cell System by EIT: A 200kg/m2 anti-vibration layer and a 120kg/m2 supportive layer to create a low profile chamois with excellent support over the long haul
- Our proprietary shape and construction has been refined over thousands of real-world miles and is often the choice of world-class cyclists
- The men's chamois incorporates a cup shape to reduce pressure and increase breathability where it counts
