This year, Unbound saw the 200 mile race record get decimated for a second year in a row. It also saw countless flats, multiple high-level crashes, and the characteristic toll of grueling and unrelenting Kansas gravel.

Sarah Lange
A puncture at 30 miles (while on pavement), a 10-minute time trial to get back on, and finally a breakaway whittled down to eight riders, before four split away to the finish.
Sarah Lange left everything out there on Emporia's gravel roads, and came away with an incredible 10th place finish, and is now sitting 5th in the Lifetime Grand Prix.
