Caring for your cycling gear properly will extend its life and maintain its performance, fit and quality. Its important to consider these instructions carefully. While we stand behind the quality of our apparel, not adhering to these instructions will void our warranty against manufacturing & defects.
We strongly recommend washing your new gear before wearing it. Youll find that your apparel will soften, and fit & comfort will improve after washing - especially with bibs & shorts.
Machine wash cool, 86F (30C) with like colors: Cooler temps maintain better longevity for your apparel. Like colors, especially lights, will remain more vibrant when washed with like colors.
Use mild detergent. Do not bleach or dry clean: Strong detergents & bleach can break down the fibers and elastane in the garment, dramatically reducing its life.
Close all fastenings: this goes also for other garments mixed in with your cycling apparel. Velcro closures or clasps can catch on stitching or trim and damage your garments.
Lay flat to dry. Do not tumble dry: Do not put your cycling apparel in the dryer. Even on low heat. Dont do it. Heat can damage fabric, elastic and heat transfer logos very easily. Lycra (Elastane) is used throughout our garments to provide compression and support and is susceptible to damage from heat and can irreparably damage your apparel.
How do your jackets fit?
Our jackets are patterned in the riding position, with a tight fit across the chest and arms with a more forward position. This is intentional to reduce flapping and extra fabric across the chest while riding. When standing, the jacket will feel tight across the chest, shoulders and torso. The arm length might appear long as well. However, the intended fit is tailored for on-the-bike positioning where the shoulders and torso no longer feel tight and the extra arm length hits the wrists in the appropriate spot. Constructed without extra fabric to flap around - it should fit tight over your jersey (with enough room for a long sleeve and base layer), but shouldn’t appear baggy. We select fabrics that have some elasticity to allow for freedom of movement even with a tailored fit to accommodate some range of fit within each size.

First the positives, this jacket is well made and of high quality. Fit is good, I'm 190cm, 75kgs with long arms and the medium fits well with long sleeve length. The main downside is it's not that breathable, mainly on the arms which have a warm fluffy lining. Even with just a thin sleeveless mesh base layer I find this jacket is only useable on cold days <6-7 degrees C. At warmer temps or on a moderate effort up a climb the arms become very damp. Website lists breathability as 5/10 but personally I would rate as 3/10.
Incredible warmth and comfort for such a lightweight jacket. Just wish it had a zipped valuables pocket but that’s a minor issue.
Feels very light. The extra isaolation on the front and sleeves makes it warm. I tried at 15 degrees celcius, which was a bit too warm. Expecting it to be at its best for temperatures between 0-10 degree. Ordered a small size, where I ordered a shirt size M. S is right for me.
A very interesting jacket. It looks very elegant, and hides so much skill. very pleasant mix of materials, very cleverly thought out everything. the collar is pleasantly soft, the inside of the front and sleeves as well. It is still warm even when it is wet. I need far fewer layers underneath with this jacket to keep me warm.
I have this jacket in both Red and Moonrock and both colours are amazing. The jacket is incredibly warm but also breaths so you don’t get too sweaty on the climbs. I wore this over a Velocio Merino Long sleeve jersey and a base layer in 0 degree weather and I was toasty warm. I also love the fact that it has pockets as many winter jackets don’t, so you can still reach everything you need during a ride. I would give this more stars but it only goes up to five. A must-have bit of winter kit.
