A mere week from the Leadville 100, riders again tackled the high altitudes and sharp rocks of the Colorado Rockies, trading mountain bikes for gravel machines.
Over the weekend, SBT GRVL attracted everybody from the fastest riders to casual newcomers. Velocio was there to welcome them all with Presta Coffee, a special edition jersey, and the signature airstream popup store, affectionately known as Rosie.
Zero compromises. Proprietary Design. High-output, everything-or-nothing speed. This is apparel designed to race. This is CONCEPT.
SBT GRVL might be a race, but that's not the focus. It's a celebration of cycling where thousands of individuals come together to form a likeminded community.
Rosie, Velocio's long-time airstream trailer, acted as an epicenter for this community. Filled to the brim with special edition jerseys only available at the event, and serving matching coffee cans with the help of Presta Coffee, all were welcome to stop by for a respite.
Away from the bustling city of tents and trailers, SBT GRVL got down to business, racing 125 miles and climbing 10,897 feet. With a lowest point over 6,000 ft and the highest over 8,000 ft, this wasn't a ride in the park.
